1st annual "Bayshore Race"Close to $22,000 was raised On Sunday August 29th.  Thirty-two  Knights, spouses and friends volunteered to help at the 1st annual "Bayshore Race" (organised to raise much needed funds to replace aging cardiology equipment at the Owen Sound Hospital)  by manning the seven  "Aid" Stations at various points along the 21km course.

Water and energy  drinks  were dispensed and handed off to the over 400 runners and walkers who competed in the event. A bright, warm, sunny morning made it a enjoyable experience. It was even reported that some old  acquaintances were rekindled  with jokes and stories of past K of C events long forgotten.

Council 2092 Grand Knight Bruce Muise  participated as a competitor in the 10K power walk.

Money raised from this campaign stays in Windsor/Essex and benefits organizations such as Windsor Community Living, Harmony in Action, the Alhambra charities, Italian Handicappable  Association and St. Jerome KofC charities.
