The Parishes of St Francis de Sales/Blessed Sacrament, Smiths Falls and Lombardy, and St John the Baptist, Perth Ontario are hosting the National Evangelization Team (NET) for the coming school year. “The NET mission is to challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church and to help the parishes implement a youth ministry program and train its local leaders in youth ministry.” At a special dinner meeting Council 3531 hosted their spouses and NET. The dinner gave the Knights and their spouses the opportunity to meet the members of NET and to show their support for NET. Pat Loftus (left side) Grand Knight Council 3531 Perth and Jack Curran (right side) Treasurer Council 2444 Smiths Falls each presented a cheque for $5000 on behave of their Councils to NET, Fr Sebastian of St Francis de Sales (left side) and Fr Al Alilio St John’s (right).
